Applications
This mold head was used in high-volume disc replication facilities for pressing optical media. Netstal DC injection systems were widely deployed in CD, DVD, and Blu-ray manufacturing operations through the 2000s and 2010s. The tooling integrates with the machine's pneumatic and cooling systems to cycle discs at production rates. Compatible replacement for equivalent Netstal DC stations.

This AWM Mold Tech AG Netstal DC injection mold head has been inspected and is in good used condition. It was pulled from a working disc manufacturing environment where it was actively in use. The mold body shows the normal wear you'd expect from production use — surface scuffing and light marks on the steel body — but there is no visible structural damage. The disc cavity and stamper ring visible on the top and bottom faces appear intact and complete. The attached SMC CDQ2WB25-10D pneumatic cylinder and multi-pin electrical connector are present. All labeled coolant and fluid ports (T1 OUT, T2 IN, T3 OUT, V1 IN, V2) are present with fittings attached. Due to size and weight, this item requires freight shipment.
