The AVP RPT48 is a 24-port analog audio patch panel built for professional rack installation. It provides 24 channels of 1/4" TRS (tip/ring/sleeve) jacks on the front face for quick signal patching, with a rear panel featuring dual A and B bus rows that expose individual tip, ring, and sleeve access points for each channel — allowing normalled, half-normalled, or fully open configurations. The unit is manufactured by AVP MFG & Supply and was made in Canada.

Applications
Audio patch panels like the AVP RPT48 are standard infrastructure in recording studios, broadcast control rooms, post-production facilities, and installed sound systems. They provide a centralized point for routing balanced analog audio signals between outboard gear — preamps, compressors, EQs, effects processors, console inserts, and tape/DAW interfaces — without requiring permanent hard-wiring. The dual A/B bus row design on the rear gives engineers direct access to tip, ring, and sleeve on each channel, which is essential for setting up normalled connections (where signal flows through by default until a patch cable interrupts it) as well as fully open or half-normalled routing. AVP patch panels were widely used in North American broadcast and studio installations from the 1980s onward and remain compatible with any standard 19" rack. The chassis and front panel show light surface wear and minor scuffing consistent with rack use. The 1/4" TRS jacks appear clean and intact. The rear bus access points and termination connectors are present and intact as visible in the photos. No cables or accessories are included — panel only.
