Applications

The ASI imPULSE single-use mixing system is used in biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical manufacturing for buffer preparation, media preparation, and upstream bioprocess operations where single-use bags are employed instead of cleaned stainless steel vessels. Single-use mixing eliminates the cleaning validation burden associated with traditional fixed tanks, making these systems common in GMP biologics production facilities, contract development and manufacturing organizations (CDMOs), and vaccine manufacturing. The 100-liter scale is well suited to pilot-scale and small commercial-scale operations. The integrated optical process monitoring (Polestar DSP4000), gravimetric control (Mettler Toledo IND560), and GES automation panel allow operators to monitor and control critical process parameters — dissolved oxygen, turbidity, weight, temperature, and agitation speed — in a single skid footprint.
