Applications

The Van Cleef collection sits within Artistica's line of decorative accent furniture and is designed for use as a living room end table, bedroom nightstand, or accent table in a foyer or sitting room. The antique mirror top is a deliberate design feature — the cloudy, foxed appearance is intentional and replicates the look of aged mercury glass, a technique that dates to 19th-century European furniture making. This style of mirrored furniture became widely popular in the late 20th and early 21st centuries as part of the Hollywood Regency and transitional interior design trends, blending traditional silhouettes with reflective surfaces. The white brass finish places it in the category of warm-toned metallic accents that complement both neutral and jewel-toned interiors. Tables in this style are commonly used in pairs flanking a sofa or bed, or singly as an accent piece.
