Artisoft 10282 Rev B 16-Bit ISA Ethernet Network Adapter Card BNC AUI 1991

This is a 16-bit ISA Ethernet network adapter card from Artisoft, manufactured in 1991. It provides 10 Mbps network connectivity for IBM PC/AT-compatible systems using either BNC (Thinnet/10Base2) or AUI (15-pin D-sub) connections.

Applications

This adapter was used to add Ethernet networking to desktop and workstation computers throughout the late 1980s and 1990s. It supports connection to 10Base2 Thinnet coaxial cable networks or standard AUI transceiver connections. Compatible with period IBM PC/AT and 386/486-class systems running DOS, Windows, or early Unix-like operating systems.
