The Apple 699-0126 is the original internal power supply for the Apple IIGS desktop computer, manufactured by ASTEC (model AA13581) under contract for Apple Computer, Inc. It accepts 115V AC input and delivers four regulated DC output rails to power the IIGS motherboard and peripherals. The unit is housed in a vented steel chassis with an integrated cooling fan and connects via a proprietary 6-pin output harness.

Applications
The Apple IIGS was Apple's most advanced 8/16-bit personal computer, released in 1986 and produced through 1992. It used a 65C816 processor and was designed to be backward-compatible with the Apple II family while offering significantly expanded capabilities including enhanced graphics, sound (via the Ensoniq 5503 chip), and memory. The 699-0126 power supply is the correct direct replacement for any IIGS in need of a working PSU — whether for a restoration, a vintage computing project, or keeping an original machine in daily service. The IIGS remains an actively collected and used machine in the vintage Apple community, and working original power supplies are increasingly difficult to find. The ASTEC AA13581 was the sole OEM supplier for this unit throughout the IIGS production run.
This Apple IIGS Power Supply (model 699-0126 / ASTEC AA13581) has been bench-tested at our facility and is in good working condition. The steel enclosure shows light surface wear and scuffing consistent with prior use, but is structurally sound with no dents or damage.
