Applications
The Apple A1021 was the standard power adapter shipped with Apple iBook G3 and iBook G4 laptops, and is also compatible with certain PowerBook G4 models that use the same 24.5V barrel connector. These adapters were introduced in the early-to-mid 2000s — a transitional era for Apple portables before the company moved to the MagSafe connector introduced with the Intel MacBook line in 2006. The 24.5V barrel connector is distinctively different from later MagSafe designs, so this adapter is specifically required for PowerPC-generation iBook and PowerBook models still in service. They remain in demand for maintaining older Apple laptops used in education, legacy software environments, and by vintage Apple collectors.
This Apple A1021 65W AC Power Adapter (Delta ADP-65GB) has been inspected and appears to be in good used condition. The white plastic casing shows scuffing and surface marks consistent with regular use — visible on the top and bottom faces — but the unit is structurally intact with no cracks or breaks. The barrel DC connector tip is intact with the gold pin present and undamaged. The gray output cable shows no fraying. The fold-out AC prongs are present.
