Apollo Cobra VS3000 Portable Reflective Overhead Projector w/ Carry Case

Apollo Cobra VS3000 Portable Reflective Overhead Projector w/ Carry Case

The Apollo Cobra VS3000 is a portable reflective overhead projector designed for classroom, training, and presentation use. Unlike traditional transmissive overhead projectors that require a light table, the Cobra uses a reflective design that folds compactly into its own hard-shell carry case, making it easy to transport between rooms or locations. The unit folds down flat into the case and sets up quickly without tools.

Applications

Portable overhead projectors like the Apollo Cobra VS3000 were widely used in schools, corporate training rooms, and conference facilities from the 1970s through the 1990s and into the early 2000s. The reflective folding design was a popular format for instructors and presenters who needed to carry their own projector between venues — the self-contained carry case meant the unit could be checked as luggage or stored in a closet when not in use. The VS3000 projects standard overhead transparencies onto a wall or projection screen, making it useful for any setting where a screen and transparencies are still in use. These units remain practical for legacy classroom environments, churches, and community organizations that still rely on transparency-based presentations.
