Applications

Horizontal cable organizers like the APC AR8425 are standard accessories in data center, server room, and network closet rack builds. They are mounted between patch panels, switches, and other 1U or 2U devices to keep horizontal cable runs orderly, reduce strain on RJ45 and other connectors, and maintain airflow paths within the rack. The five D-ring design allows cables to be bundled loosely without sharp bends, which helps preserve cable performance and makes future moves, adds, and changes much easier. These organizers are commonly used in IT infrastructure environments ranging from small office network racks to enterprise data center deployments.
