American Technology Labs 5620 Two Channel CSU/DSU Pacific Bell DTE

Two-channel Channel Service Unit/Data Service Unit for Pacific Bell DTE applications. This desktop unit provides line conditioning and signal conversion for dual T1 or fractional T1 circuits, with DB-25 connectors on each channel.

Applications

CSU/DSU units were standard equipment in telecom installations for interfacing with carrier T1 lines. The 5620 supported Pacific Bell and other carriers' DTE configurations, used in corporate networks, branch office connectivity, and legacy data communications setups. Compatible with systems requiring dual-channel T1 termination and line conditioning.

This American Technology Labs 5620 Two Channel CSU/DSU has been inspected and appears to be in good condition. The unit shows light cosmetic wear typical of previously used telecom equipment — minor scuffing on the metal chassis is visible, but the front panel, LED indicators, and controls look intact and undamaged. The rear DB-25 DTE connectors and Line port appear clean. Comes with a Condor plug-in Class 2 transformer (power supply) and a gray DB-25 interface cable as shown in the photos.
