Applications
RF wireless headphones like the Advent AW-770 were popular in the 1990s and early 2000s as a cable-free listening solution for home audio setups — TVs, stereos, and hi-fi receivers. Unlike Bluetooth, RF technology offers a longer range and does not require pairing, making it simple to use: plug in the transmitter, power on the headphones, and tune to the correct frequency. The AW-770 is well suited for home theater listening, TV audio for late-night viewing, or general music listening from a stereo receiver. These headphones are a practical find for anyone seeking a simple, no-Bluetooth wireless audio solution for a home audio system.
This Advent Wireless AW-770 RF wireless headphone set has been inspected and appears to be in good used condition. The headphones show some cosmetic wear on the ear cups and headband — typical for used audio equipment of this age — with scuffing visible on the ear cup housings. The black ear cushions show light wear but remain intact. The set includes the RF transmitter base and the original AC power adapter. It has not been powered up or tested at our facility, but comes from a previously used environment. Please view our photo set and contact us if you have any questions.
