Applications
The SuperStack II Baseline series was 3Com's entry-level line of unmanaged Fast Ethernet switches, introduced in the late 1990s to provide plug-and-play 10/100 connectivity for small offices and workgroups. At the time, 100 Mbps Fast Ethernet was becoming the standard desktop speed, and simple unmanaged switches like this one replaced shared Ethernet hubs by giving each port its own dedicated bandwidth. This 3Com 3C16464A SuperStack II Baseline 10/100 Fast Ethernet Switch was pulled from a working environment where it was previously in use. It has been visually inspected and photographed.
