Description
110AWI-100 Rackmount Telecom Punchdown Board 110AWI to RJ25 96-Port Patch Panel
This is a rackmount 110-type punchdown to RJ25 patch panel with 96 individually numbered modular ports. The panel converts 110AWI-style punchdown terminations on the rear to RJ25 (6P6C) modular jacks on the front, organized in groups of four across the face of a standard rackmount frame. All 96 ports are numbered sequentially and clearly labeled for straightforward cable management and circuit identification.

Applications
110-type punchdown patch panels like this one are a standard building block in telephone distribution and PBX infrastructure. The 110 wiring system, developed by AT&T/Western Electric, has been widely used since the 1970s for cross-connecting telephone circuits in commercial buildings, data centers, and central offices. In a typical installation, this panel mounts in a telecom rack or wiring cabinet; incoming pairs are punched down on the rear 110 blocks, and desk phones, PBX extensions, or other voice equipment connect via RJ25 patch cords on the front. The RJ25 (6-position, 6-conductor) jack format supports multi-line telephone sets and is common in legacy PBX environments where two or three telephone lines share a single modular connection. Panels of this type remain in active use in facilities running legacy key telephone systems, traditional PBX platforms, and older enterprise voice infrastructure — and are also commonly sourced as replacement or expansion hardware for existing 110-wired telecom rooms.
This 110AWI-100 Rackmount Telecom Punchdown Patch Panel has been inspected and appears to be in good used condition. The metal frame and front RJ25 jacks look clean with only minor surface wear. The rear 110AWI punchdown blocks are wired with color-coded cabling and all 96 ports appear intact and undamaged. It was not bench-tested at our facility but shows no signs of damage or abuse.
